Privacy Policy

The site sets no cookies unless you accept analytics. Apart from the logs every web host keeps, and visit counts from Google Analytics if you accept them, we only see what you send us through a form, and we use it to reply to you and to screen out spam.

What We Collect

The enquiry form
Your name, email, business or website if you give it, and your answers.
The check-in
Your answers to the five questions, your name and your email.
Either form
With what you type, how long the page was open before you pressed Send, the page you sent it from, and your browser’s version, timezone and language.
Analytics, if you accept
Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived (a search, a link or a campaign), your device and browser type, your approximate location (city and country, worked out from your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store) and which buttons you press, including whether a form was sent, never what you typed in it. It sets two cookies, named _ga and _ga_ followed by our ID, which last up to 13 months.
Every visit
Hostinger, which hosts the site, logs each request (IP address, browser details, the page and the time), as every web host does. Nothing on the site loads from anywhere else unless you accept analytics.

Why

To reply to you, and to do the work if we end up working together. The timing, timezone, language and browser details are for screening out spam: they help us tell a real enquiry from a fake one. We use none of it for tracking or advertising, and we never sell it.

If you accept analytics, it shows us, in aggregate, which pages and buttons help people find what they need, so we can make the site better. It is not used for advertising.

Who Handles It

Google Workspace
Receives both forms through a small script of ours, keeps each one in a spreadsheet only we can open, and hosts our email. Google privacy policy
Google Analytics
Counts visits and button presses for us, and only after you accept. Its advertising features and Google Signals are off. How Google Analytics protects data
Hostinger
Hosts the website and keeps its server logs under its own terms. Hostinger privacy policy

Each of them may store data in countries other than yours.

How Long We Keep It

If we don’t end up working together, we delete your enquiry or check-in 12 months after our last exchange. If we do, it becomes part of our client records and is kept for as long as that work, and the law, requires.

The spreadsheet deletes each one by itself after 12 months. Hostinger keeps its server logs under its own policy, as above.

When you send an enquiry, we email you a confirmation. So that no address gets more than one a day, the script keeps a one-way hash of your email address (not the address itself) for 24 hours.

Google Analytics keeps its reports for up to 14 months. Your analytics choice stays in your browser for 12 months; after that, we ask again.

Your Choices

Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at hello@thetomorrowshop.com. We will reply within 30 days.

You can also skip the forms and email us directly.

Change your analytics choice at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page, or .

Changes

If any of this changes (a new form, for example), we will update this page and the date at the top.
